Hi there Jasmin, welcome to the team! Tell us a little bit about yourself…

Hi! I’m Jasmin, the new Customer Experience Specialist at Appogee HR. I’ve worked in Customer facing roles for over 12 years now, in various industries from Mechanical Engineering to the Wedding Industry! I’ve always had an interest in HR and a couple of years ago I completed my CIPD HR Qualification. Working at Appogee HR combines my customer success experience and my interest in HR. Outside of work, I like to practise calligraphy/ hand lettering and I love to dance & sing. 

What appealed to you most about working at Appogee HR?

Throughout the interview process I got to speak with some of the team and everyone was very friendly and passionate about their role at Appogee HR. The culture really stood out to me as an inclusive, friendly and supportive environment, so I was very excited when I got offered the role! 

What are you most looking forward to getting involved in?

Since joining I’ve been learning the ropes of Appogee HR and I’m looking forward to using this knowledge to help our customers make the most out of their subscription. There are lots of exciting things coming to Appogee HR, so I'm looking forward to working with the team to roll these features out to our customers!

What’s your favourite piece of technology you use or want to use?

I’ve recently been reading about the Oura smart ring. It’s so amazing how so much technology can fit into such a small item and it offers a lot of different features that smart watches don’t yet offer.

What did you want to be when you were younger?

When I was younger I wanted to be a dancer on the West End. Having danced since the age of 4, it’s always been a hobby of mine. Whilst my career took a different route once I left school, I did get the opportunity to perform on a West End stage a couple of times which was definitely a tick off of the bucket list for me!

How do you take your tea / coffee?

My usual go to is either a decaf oat milk latte or a hot chocolate.

Favourite book/movie/album and why?

My favourite movie is probably “Top Gun”. I love the music and the 80s feel to it. The latest Top Gun Maverick film was a great follow up film too. 

Tell us a fun fact about yourself that might surprise us!

I’ve been lucky enough to have recorded songs at Abbey Road Studios twice. It was such an amazing experience recording in the same studio as music legends!
