Hi there Nirupama, welcome to the team! Tell us a little bit about yourself…

Hello, I'm Nirupama and I've joined Appogee HR as a QA Engineer. My background includes working as a Quality Engineer in the software industry. As a passionate tester and a quality-oriented individual, I am dedicated to my work. Beyond work, I'm a professional karate champion and also find joy in hobbies like cooking and painting.

What appealed to you most about working at Appogee HR?

I was particularly drawn to Appogee HR’s reputation and supportive environment.  Appogee HR has a collaborative environment where employees are encouraged to explore new ideas and opportunities of continuous learning. Additionally, Appogee HR focuses on work-life balance and values team happiness and growth.

What are you most looking forward to getting involved in?

I'm looking forward to getting involved in Appogee HR’s projects and handling QA responsibilities. I am excited about the opportunity to learn and collaborate with a talented team which I believe will help me grow both professionally and personally.

What’s the most exciting area of tech you're interested in learning?

My favourite technology in testing is API testing tools. I've also used bug-tracking tools and Test management software tools. I can't wait to expand my skill set to include API testing and automation testing. I believe it will add a valuable dimension to my testing capabilities.

What did you want to be when you were a kid?

As a child I always had a fascination with technology. I used to dream about being a part of the software industry. I have been able to turn my childhood dream into reality by pursuing a career in the IT field. It’s incredibly fulfilling to work in an industry I am genuinely passionate about.

Favourite book/movie/album and why?

I am a big fan of suspenseful movies. I have a deep appreciation for movies and there are so many that I love. It's hard to pick up just one favourite because each film has its unique charm and resonates with me in different ways.
