Business Review Europe - New upgrade in methods of recording worker absence

Appogee Leave update to make tracking worker absence and time off easier with new interface and reporting capabilities.

Appogee has updated its Appogee Leave app, which consistently ranks as the number one absence and time off management solution for Google Apps in the Google Apps Marketplace.

Appogee Leave, which is fully integrated with Google Mail and Calendar, provides an easy way for managers and employees to keep track and manage all types of absence, including holiday and sickness requests and approvals.

The update includes a cleaner user interface, a new management dashboard and improved reporting capabilities.

Refreshing the user interface creates a cleaner look and offers a more straightforward user journey for employees, managers or HR professionals.

The new dashboard for managers brings together outstanding requests with the information needed to assess approvals.

The reporting improvements are delivered via a new top level menu which will ease access to a broader range of default reports.  Moreover, managers will now, for the first time, have the option to build their own custom reports.

Appogee Leave user Linda Ferrari, HR and Operations Manager at Esna said, “One of the reasons we chose a cloud tool is that Appogee is hugely receptive to feedback and suggestions, meaning we have seen the system continually improve in line with our needs and uses.

“We also wanted a system that naturally integrates within our Google ecosystem. We very much believe in the cloud, we live and breathe Google everyday and try to ensure all the products we select for our domain share the same philosophy. A system that worked with Gmail and Google calendar was imperative.”

David McLeman, CEO at Appogee explained: “We are committed to building best-of-breed solutions which easily integrate with existing Google applications, such as GMail and Google Calendar.  The most recent updates to Appogee Leave, are largely based on feedback from our customers and partners.

“With the new year fast approaching, the new report builder, management dashboard and simplified user-interface allow our customers to spend more time being productive, and less time administering paper forms and spreadsheets.”
